Welcome! Meet Scout, GameTree’s next-gen LFG (Looking For Group) Bot that makes it easy for friends and communities to play together on Discord.

Note: Scout is in Beta and currently only works with the GameTree server. Fill this form for private server early access.
Scout enables servers with easier, faster, and better LFG’s by:
- Automating smart invites, posts, and cleanup
- Matching players by game, availability, and compatibility
- Cutting LFG role spam and channel noise
Scout can work standalone or with a linked GameTree account for enhanced matching.
What Scout Does
Scout supports three core LFG modes:
1) Server Communities
- Creates LFG posts in a server Discord channel
- Direct message invites relevant community members in batches, prioritized by games played, availability, friend status, and player compatibility
- Creates local private voice + text channels for the LFG
2) Friends & Private Groups
- Invites your “LFG Friends” who play the game
- Coordinates squads without manual tagging or individual messaging
- Creates a private voice + text channel for your group in the GameTree server
3) Public Matchmaking
- Invites relevant “LFG friends” who play the game
- Fills extra spots with compatible players you’re predicted to vibe with
- Prioritizes players based on preferences and personality (via GameTree profiles)
Afterwards, Scout sends a session summary and cleans up all outstanding posts, text/voice channels, and invites.
How Scout Works
At a high level, Scout follows this flow:
- Someone creates a live or scheduled LFG request
- Scout notifies relevant players
- Players join the group
- The team plays
- Scout cleans everything up and sends an after session report

Scout is still its infant stages. We have ambitious plans to add deeper matchmaking filters, cross-server LFG controls, league/tournament organization, playtime availability schedules, advanced player profiles, gamification, and more.
