Usage: /lfg game: [game] players: [max] description: [text] when: [time]
Parameters
- game (required) — Start typing and Scout will autocomplete game names
- players (optional) — Max player count. Defaults to 4 or the game’s typical group size
- description (optional) — Add context like rank, role needed, or play style
- when (optional) — Schedule for later. Supports natural language: “2pm”, “tomorrow”, “Monday”, “in 2 hours”, or specific dates. Max 8 days ahead.
What Happens When You Create an LFG
Live sessions: Scout creates a private voice and text channel. When you join the voice channel, invites go out to relevant friends and compatible players in prioritized waves. If you don’t join voice within 2 minutes, the session auto-closes.
Scheduled sessions: Scout creates a text channel immediately and invites relevant players. Reminders are sent at 1 hour and 5 minutes before start. The voice channel is created at start time, and a final round of invites goes out.
You need to set your timezone before scheduling. Use /timezone to set it.
