Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile was announced in 2022. The developers have already held a closed beta testing with plans to release the game in the fall of 2024, but they said that they need more time for the game to meet players’ expectations. Therefore, the Rainbow Six Siege Mobile release date was postponed to 2025.

At the same time, Rainbow Six Mobile is currently in the soft launch phase and is available to gamers in Canada and Mexico. Users from these countries are already sharing their impressions on Reddit and saying that R6 Mobile is the best FPS shooter ported to mobile devices. Well, I can’t wait to see it for myself!

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name, then tap Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region.
3. Select Canada and tap Change Country or Region.
4. After that, Rainbow Six Mobile will appear in the App Store search. You can download the game and start playing.

Android users should follow these steps to play Rainbow Six Siege Mobile outside Canada and Mexico:

1. Install any VPN on your phone that allows you to select the Canada region.
2. Launch the VPN and select the Canada region.
3. Create a new Google account. Don’t disable the VPN while doing this.
4. Go to Google Play and find and download Rainbow Six Mobile. You won’t need the VPN anymore to play the game.

Development Issues And Reason For The Delay

The developers did not mention any specific reason why Rainbow Six Siege Mobile was postponed for another year. Ubisoft just mentioned in its report that the development team wants to make sure that the game will meet the requirements and expectations of players. I do not see much intrigue or mystery here. Most likely, this is exactly how it is in reality – the game is almost ready, as evidenced by the soft launch in Canada and Mexico. The developers just need more time to catch bugs and make sure that the servers are stable, which is critical for competitive games.

Will Rainbow Six Mobile Have Crossplay With Other Platforms?

There was no official answer from the developers regarding whether there will be crossplay with other platforms. Most likely, there will be no cross-platform play since this is a separate game developed specifically for mobile devices.
